The Wildcats (2-3) and Regina Thunder (5-0) hooked up for an afternoon matchup on Sunday in Sherwood Park and the Thunder walked away with a 22-10 decision over the Wildcats. The Wildcats had 19 first downs compared to the Thunder’s 14 first downs, but they couldn’t capitalize on their opportunities during the day. Wildcats quarterback Devin Desormeau had 17 completions on 32 attempts for 200 passing yards and two interceptions. Desormeau also gained 54 yards on the ground on 9 carries and 1 rushing touchdown.

Next up for the Wildcats is a road game at Regina this Sunday to take on the Thunder in a 1:00 pm start at Leibel Field.
