CFL Draft goes Wild-cat
In the 2012 CFL Draft, former Edmonton Wildcat, Ryan King, was drafted by the Edmonton Eskimos. “Kinger” was a standout defensive player for the Wildcats earning CJFL All-Canadian Defensive Player status in 2007; in 2009 he went to finish off his CIS eligibility with the St. Mary University Huskies. He joins the current former-Wildcats-now-in-the-CFL fraternity with Taylor Inglis, Gordie Hinse and Corbin Sharun on the EE roster along with Montreal Alouette Jeff Hecht.
