Rookie Wildcat Running Back Takes CJFL Player of the Week Honors
ROOKIE BACK RUNS AWAY WITH CJFL PLAYER OF THE WEEK AWARD The Prairie Football Conference congratulates Jordan Samoil of the Edmonton Wildcats whose 309-yard rushing performance in the Wildcats 55-18 Week 2 win over the Edmonton Huskies has earned him the Russell Athletic/CJFL Offensive Player of the Week Award.
OFFENSE-JORDAN SAMOIL- EDMONTON WILDCATS The rookie tailback and product of Bev Facey has had a red hot start to his PFC career. In Saturday night’s 55-18 victory over the Edmonton Huskies, Samoil rushed for 309 yards and 4 touchdowns as his club racked up a total of 452 yards along the ground. When you add the scores to his 3-touchdown effort in the Wildcats Week 1 road win in Winnipeg, he has scored 7 times on the campaign.
