Throwback Thursday: David Fennell

David Fennell (“Doctor Death”) was an Edmonton Eskimo from 1974-1983, and was a significant contributor to the Esks defensive line (known as “Alberta Crude”) during the dynasty years. He was the 1978 Schenley Most Outstanding Defensive Player winner, All-Western and All-Canadian champ for five years in a row, and was inducted to the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 1990. Dave played for one season with the Wildcats!
